Building Family Strengths

A New Face on the American Family (One 1-hour session)
Families come in all shapes, sizes, colors, ages, and components. There are traditional families, single-parent families, foster families, step-families, and kinship families, but the one binding force among them is love and concern for each other's well-being. Learn how to teach one another not to be judgemental about a family's structure. Teaching diversity is not just a necessity in this world today; it is the right thing to do.

Celebrate Your Family (One 1-hour session)
This program is intended to help your family develop its strengths. The only two requirements for celebrating your family are a desire to do something that will strengthen the family further and a family commitment to set aside time for strength-building activities.

For more information on Building Family Strengths, contact Carole Toubakaris at the Butler County Extension Office; phone 724-287-4761.
