Penn State Cooperative Extension's Better Kid Care Program provides educational materials, learning experiences, and programs to child care providers, parents, and employers throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

The goal of the Better Kid Care Program is to improve the availability, accessibility, and quality of child care. This is accomplished in several ways, including the Internet, satellite workshops, training workshops, video learn-at-home units, on-site training, and toll-free helpline.

Visit the Better Kid Care website at http://betterkidcare.psu.edu for trainings, tips, articles, activities, snack ideas, learning units, and other useful resources for caregivers of infants, toddlers, and young children.

For information on direct child care provider trainings in Beaver County, please contact Darlene Sansone, Lawrence County Cooperative Extension, at 724-654-8370 or dxs74@psu.edu.
