Penn State Cooperative Extension of Beaver County
sponsors two different types of beekeeping workshops each year.

Click on a choice below for more information:

Beginning Beekeeping Workshop

Managing honeybees can be a very rewarding enterprise and a profitable sideline. Individuals may want to keep bees for the honey they produce or for the pollination they provide. This seminar is designed for beginning beekeepers to help answer questions, avoid many pitfalls and understand the things that are necessary to get started in beekeeping. Participants are encouraged to ask questions during the seminar as they arise.

Two Beginning Beekeeping Workshops are offered at different locations each year. The same topics will be presented at each.
